Lead the software team that delivers Data for some of Apple’s most innovative features. In this highly visible position, you will collaborate with multi-functional and cross-discipline teams across Apple to drive strategy and execution of a software platform that will power the data needed for new hardware and software features - from small, focused research studies to large-scale worldwide operations. - Mentor and develop new leaders and cultivate team career growth - Provide both tactical and strategic planning along with strong leadership skills - Drive data collection infrastructure strategy across the Apple device ecosystem - Communicate at the executive level in shaping data roadmaps

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or similar area
  • 5+ years leading a team focused on macOS, iOS, tvOS, visionOS or watchOS development
  • 3+ years leading at least one manager
  • Have in-depth knowledge of Swift, Objective-C, or C++
  • A proven track record of strategic leadership of a large team, and a history of executing on pivotal initiatives
  • Outstanding leadership and team management skills, with a focus on team building and individual development

  • 5-10 years of senior leadership experience managing software engineering teams
  • Fast learner of complex hardware and software systems and unfamiliar technologies
  • You are flexible and comfortable with ambiguity — able to rapidly optimize across many variables and values to make the best decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Readily builds rapport, inspiration, and credibility across large organizations
  • Experience crafting and implementing outstanding user interfaces and customer experience

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $219,300 and $378,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
