Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our distributed Experimentation Platform team. We're building the Experimentation Platform that powers GoDaddy products that help small business owners manage and grow their businesses. This platform is the foundation for the test and learn culture at GoDaddy.

As a Senior UI Engineer, you will contribute to GoDaddy's effort in improving our customers' businesses through data products, tooling, and analysis. The Experimentation Platform team is developing a platform to empower GoDaddy teams to make data-driven decisions for the best customer experience. 

What you'll get to do...

• Participate in the development of web services and systems for capturing and analyzing experimental data.
• Maintain the quality and performance of your team's code by conducting code reviews and establishing standard methodologies.
• Follow robust coding practices, and actively participate in designing, DevOps, release, and rotational on-call activities in support of your services and customers.
• Engage with engineers & leaders across GoDaddy to solve business and customer problems (from group-wide to company-wide).
• Continuously improve agile practices within your team.
• Support junior engineers and interns. 

Your experience should include...

• 7+ years of software development experience with modern Web development technologies such as ReactJS, Typescript, NodeJS, JavaScript, and NextJS.
• Understanding accessibility and security compliance.
• Using modular and reusable code and components.
• Knowledge of the common web application exploits and their solutions.
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments (specifically oauth & SSO strategies).
• Experience in working with global state management solutions such as Redux, Redux Toolkit (RTK), and similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Unit Tests and Integration Tests.
• Experience working remotely or with a distributed team.
• Outstanding communication skills. 

You might also have...

• Experience with Frontend performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Gasket.
• Use Figma or other craft tools to craft new components and feature flows.
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
