The Basics:

Tanium is looking for talented and energetic individuals to join our fast-growing Corporate Sales team with a specific focus on the Public Sector. The Corporate Account Executive will play a critical role in helping public sector organizations address their most pressing Security and IT challenges. This role requires working closely with our strategic partners, Sales Engineers, and field sales teams to run full-cycle sales campaigns. Motivated and driven individuals will thrive in this collaborative and dynamic environment while developing key skills for a long-term technology sales career.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and manage a methodically qualified sales pipeline from start to close.
  • Research, identify, and generate new opportunities on a weekly basis.
  • Through understanding your customers' challenges, sell our solutions in a consultative approach tailored to public sector needs.
  • Maintain a high volume of activity, including outbound calls, emails, and social selling.
  • Learn and embrace Tanium’s value-selling sales strategy.
  • Build a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and current trends in the marketplace, with a focus on public sector priorities.
  • Work closely with our broad ecosystem of partners to drive the best outcomes for customers.
  • Collaborate with teammates to share insights, best practices, and strategies to collectively achieve success

The Right Candidate Will:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree and have experience in full-cycle sales campaigns with a track record of achieving or exceeding quota.
  • Demonstrate passion for being part of a team focused on helping public sector customers solve critical Security and IT challenges while driving innovation and collaboration across the business.
  • Be a strong and effective communicator.
  • Build strong relationships across the business and become a trusted resource for teammates and partners.
  • Exhibit eagerness to learn, commitment to continuous improvement, and openness to feedback.
  • Show a competitive mentality that drives them to excel while supporting team success.
  • Possess a strong technical aptitude.
  • Be detail-oriented and flexible, adapting to the unique demands of public sector sales and collaboration.
