So, what’s the role all about?

We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Director to lead the people strategy for the CX Engineering Group, a global team of 1,800 employees.  This leadership role will focus on organization design, resource planning, talent development, employee engagement and leadership coaching to drive performance and foster organizational maturity.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the resilience to adapt and the passion to make a lasting impact on an expanding organization.

How will you make an impact?

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the people agenda and drive the execution of HR initiatives within the CX Engineering Group to ensure alignment with business goals and seamless execution.
  • Trusted Advisor: Build and maintain strong relationships with the GM of Engineering and leadership teams, influencing key priorities and offering strategic advice to support business needs.
  • Leadership Development: Strengthen leadership capabilities by coaching senior leaders and providing leadership development opportunities at all levels.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of HRBPs, across global regions, driving the delivery of the people strategy and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Support organizational scaling and integration efforts during periods of growth and acquisitions.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture: Champion employee engagement initiatives, ensuring a positive employee experience and aligning organizational culture with strategic goals. Lead team-building activities and promote a strong, unified culture.
  • Change Management: Partner with leadership to design and implement organizational change initiatives that align with business objectives, identifying potential risks and developing strategies for successful adoption.
  • Strategic HR Initiatives: Lead and oversee key HR processes, including talent management, succession planning, compensation, performance management, and leadership development.
  • Workforce Planning & Optimization: Manage site strategy, career development pathways, level pyramids, hiring planning, and more. Ensure global team effectiveness by aligning workforce planning with business objectives and optimizing talent utilization across regions.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Use HR analytics to identify trends in performance, employee satisfaction, retention, and diversity. Proactively offer data-backed solutions to drive business outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Centers of Excellence (COEs) and regional HR teams to ensure the seamless delivery of HR processes and programs. Leverage organizational HR tools, systems, and policies for maximum impact.
  • Organizational Health: Provide analysis on the organization’s overall health, using data to assess trends in performance, engagement, retention, and diversity, and recommend solutions to improve organizational outcomes.

Have you got what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Psychology, Business Administration, communication, Industrial Engineering, or other related fields.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a global environment, including experience in an engineering organization (not IT or services).
  • Proven success in leading HR teams and managing large-scale initiatives.
  • Strong ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization, collaborating with diverse and global stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in influencing decision-makers and driving organizational change.
  • Data-savvy with the ability to analyze trends and use insights to make actionable business recommendations.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives from planning to execution.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • A hands-on, flexible, and self-sufficient approach to HR with the confidence to make decisions independently.
  • Demonstrated agility to work in a global, matrixed environment with shifting priorities and changing business needs.
