We’re looking for an experienced iOS Software Engineer to join our Medic 5 team to develop a product that will change the way Ambulance crews and clinicians track the medical care they provide. In partnership with Apple, we are building a new EHR (Electronic Health Record) app built from the ground up exclusively for iOS – leveraging the best resources, technologies and support Apple has to offer.

What you will do:
The Role’s key Responsibilities and Tasks
As an iOS Software Engineer in the Medic 5 team, you will be in charge of:
- Build and maintain a fully native SwiftUI iOS 18 application targeting iPhone and iPad devices.
- Work with cutting edge tech stack including both Swift and SwiftUI (Minimum Target iOS 18), Tuist, Realm, Xcode Cloud (Continuous Integration) and MVVM (Architecture) to name a few!
- Make decisions with the team about the direction of the architecture and technical decisions.
- Being a member of a high performing cross functional team of designers, scrum masters, developers, QA, and product owners who all share the same values and focus.

- Provide solutions to complex problems while also challenging decisions, being proactive and looking to improve your technical ability.
What you need to succeed:
- Three plus years’ experience in software engineering and software design and architecture principles.
- Problem-solving and analytic thinking skills.
- Adapting to the latest tools and technologies such as WWDC announcements as one example.
- Experience programming in Swift using Xcode.
- Experience with Apple Libraries such as SwiftUI, Swift Collections, Swift Concurrency, XCTest, XCUITest. Swift Testing and Macros would be nice to have.
- Experience with Software Design Patterns such as MVVM, Dependency Injection, ideally Observer and Factory patterns.
- Familiarity with Swift Libraries such as Realm, Alamofire, Quick and Nimble and Tuist.
