We use valuable data and research to provide expert, hands-on support starting from the implementation phase and beyond, ensuring customers achieve their goals and use our technology to its fullest potential. We’re seeking a Design Director to lead and elevate the customer and internal user experience for Customer Success (i.e. post-sales). In this role, you’ll take ownership of the core customer and internal user journeys, leading the design of intuitive solutions that span onboarding, issue resolution, implementations, and performance analytics. You will work with cross-functional partners to drive the product strategy and deliver an intuitive and cohesive experience for our end users. Reporting to the VP, Customer Success Business Architecture, you will: 

  • Actively practice and evangelize customer-centric thinking throughout the Customer Success org
  • Transform the experience and customers and employees to drive adoption
  • Partner with the Customer Success executive leadership team to build a holistic design strategy across all Support, Customer Success, and Professional Services
  • Partner with cross-functional teams like Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations to define the vision and strategy for our Customer Success Design
  • Ask smart questions, take risks, and champion new ideas

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 12+ years of experience in design, with 5+ years in team building and people management
  • A track record of delivering well-executed products and driving meaningful business impact
  • An advocate for craft and customer-centricity with a strong design voice
  • Experience visualizing and articulating a clear design strategy to cross-functional partners
  • Experience thriving in complex product ecosystems as a culture carrier and mentor

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience managing executive leadership
  • Experience with post sales, customer success, or professional services
  • Experience in Enterprise SaaS software
  • A track record of scaling small teams to enterprise level processes and organizational structures
  • Project experience working with Salesforce or similar platforms

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range
$182,000$260,000 USD
