Your Impact

As a key individual contributor within our Sterling, Virginia Distribution Center, you will take full ownership of day-to-day operations across receiving, inventory control, and finished goods packing/shipping—directly supporting domestic customer fulfillment.

In this position, you'll play a critical role in driving operational excellence across our distribution network. You'll be hands-on in monitoring key performance indicators, identifying and executing process improvement initiatives, and ensuring workflows are safe, efficient, and optimized. While the role doesn’t include direct reports, you’ll collaborate extensively across functions—using your subject matter expertise, initiative, and executional rigor to influence outcomes.

You’ll report directly to the Director of Distribution within the Supply Chain organization and will be empowered to lead change, think creatively, and deliver innovative solutions that propel us toward world-class operational performance.

What You’ll Do 

Location: Sterling, VA
Reports to: Director, Global Distribution
Direct Reports: none

  • Promotes a safe work environment by adhering to and reinforcing safety standards and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Drives operational performance by contributing insights and recommendations to strategic plans based on warehouse operations data and analysis.
  • Supports financial targets by forecasting resource requirements, contributing to annual budgeting processes, managing expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions as needed.
  • Oversees all Distribution Center operations, including planning, process improvement initiatives, and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Owns core warehouse functions, including receiving, shipping, inventory management, and overall facility performance.
  • Actively engages in cross-functional meetings, offering operational insights and constructive feedback to support broader organizational goals.
  • Maintains accurate inventory records and ensures execution of all operational and compliance counts in accordance with established policies.
  • Manages outbound logistics, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment through effective part allocation and coordination.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Logistics/Distribution management  or 5+ years of experience running a similarly sized Distribution Center operation in a fast-paced, growing environment
  • Experience with the assessment and implementation of process and technology improvements to drive accuracy, efficiency, and improvement in customer on time delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a matrix environment – ready to jump in and lead collaboration to achieve organizational objectives
  • Strong organizational, communication and follow up skills
  • Ability to remain flexible, make quick decisions and keep all interested parties informed
  • Excellent collaborating skills and ability to partner with key internal and external stakeholders across the organization
  • Goal-oriented team player – Collaborates effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive high levels of customer fulfillment and satisfaction.
  • Servant leader – Focuses on building and refining systems and processes that empower the distribution team to deliver results with minimal friction.
