Are you passionate about contributing to the development of camera products that can truly make a difference? We are currently searching for a Mechanics Engineer to become a valuable member of our imaging hardware team, focusing on the creation of cutting-edge law enforcement camera systems. We are looking for someone with a strong blend of mechanics design, rapid prototyping and testing skills. Since the team is compact, you will be working with wide range of areas. Your skillset will therefore get stronger for sure. Your engineering decisions will be highly visible in final products.


What You’ll Do

Location: Tampere, Finland
Reports to: Senior Principal Technical Program Manager

  • Work closely with hardware design, prototyping and analysis with hands-on can-do attitude.
  • Innovate and engineer camera technology and products for law enforcement use cases.
  • Collaborate closely electrical and optical engineers, software engineers as well as with your international colleagues and partners.
  • Keep the design quality bar high to make sure customer satisfaction meets company targets.
  • Make sure that design targets are met in ready products.

What You Bring

  • Suitable degree is for example M.Sc. in mechanics .
  • You have experience in successful practical design implementations in mechanics and/or laboratory automation area(s).
  • Good at fast prototyping, failure analysis and working in optics/mechanics/electronics interface.
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills and experience about international collaboration.
  • Can do attitude.
  • Good 3D design competence
  • Bonus but not required.
    • Experience about photonics and camera technologies.
    • Creo 3D tool experience
    • Laboratory automation and robotics
