Lyft is seeking a Financial Analyst on our Rideshare FP&A - Strategic Finance team, focusing on Memberships, Loyalty, and ad hoc analyses. The ideal candidate will bring natural curiosity, financial rigor, and a continuous improvement mindset to the team driving financial analysis in support of strategic decision making at Lyft.
Responsibilities:
- Lead in-depth financial analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and ROI evaluations to drive decision-making on new and existing products and to provide insights to senior business leaders
- Directly partner with with Strategic Business Development, Product, and Data Science to optimize financial outcomes and drive transparency/accountability on results
- Prepare and own periodic financial business reviews, highlighting key areas of focus
- Develop sustainable financial data management/sourcing practices to enable our team and business partners to move fast
- Support recurring processes related to Month close and earnings
Experience:
- BA/BS with 3+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, or strategic finance in a fast-moving environment or related work experience
- Prior experience working on business partnerships, marketplace business models, or customer lifetime value preferred
- Expert in Excel/Google Sheets, experience building complex models and manipulating large data sets
- Forward-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving mindset
- Detail oriented and highly organized self starter
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate proactively and influence effectively across various teams
- Capable of managing overlapping tasks and assignments, while adapting to priority shifts
- Requirement to work in the San Francisco office according to Lyft's hybrid work policy, which involves working three days in the office.

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid
The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $98,000 - $122,500. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
