The Team:

The AQR Marketing team is responsible for brand management, communications, digital strategy, design and events for the firm.  Our highly collaborative and creative team develops and executes multi-faceted communications and marketing campaigns across investment strategies, regions and client channels.

Your Role:

We are seeking a talented professional to join our Marketing team to focus on media relations and channel marketing.

  • Assist in developing and executing proactive media programs and supporting reactive, day-to-day press engagement, helping to arrange and staff media meetings and brief spokespeople.
  • Proactively identify news hooks and ideas relevant to the investment landscape and AQR’s business, including adapting research papers and commentary for media.
  • Provide writing and editing support for marketing and communications materials.
  • Support the development and execution of marketing efforts including campaigns, collateral and digital marketing projects.
  • Work closely with members of the communications and marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging and approach, identifying ways to leverage opportunities across channels.
  • Support communications and marketing metrics and measurement.
  • Manage global awards program to highlight innovations and key strategies.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 1 - 3 years of experience working in communications, marketing or journalism; financial services experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to execute tasks independently as well act as a valuable team player
  • A well-organized and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to multi-task and work within tight timeframes
  • A positive attitude and the ability to build rapport with a variety of stakeholders
  • Intellectual curiosity with a high standard of excellence
  • Goal-oriented mindset, demonstrating a sense of personal growth and accountability
  • High degree of creativity

The salary range for this role is expected to be $85,000 to $95,000.  This is the range that we in good faith believe is accurate for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, depending upon factors such as skills, experience, location, or other business and organizational needs.  This wage range may also be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
