Quantitative Trader Internship (Shanghai)

*Candidates should be interested in working in Shanghai for their full-time job after graduation.

About the Role: 

Our quantitative trading internship is an intensive 10-week program designed to enhance your quantitative and programming skills and understanding of financial markets. Our goal is to give you the experience of what itโ€™s like to be a full-time quant trader at Jump.

At Jump our people contribute to trading teams in the following roles or a blend of all three: quant trader, quantitative researcher, and software developer. During our internship you will get training in all of these areas, with a focus in trading and financial markets. Topics include trading strategies, market mechanics, statistics, and our research process for signal generation.

Applying lessons from training, you will first work with fellow interns to develop your own predictive models and automated trading strategies for live trading.

Then youโ€™ll have the opportunity to rotate and work with several trading teams. During each rotation youโ€™ll work on a project with the trading team while being mentored by experienced traders, quant researchers, and developers. Other duties as assigned or needed.
