Your future role within QRT:

The successful candidate will join the global infrastructure team at QRT and will be responsible for developing the QRT Infrastructure DevOps platforms for the firm. We implement a strict IAC (Infrastructure as Code) mindsight at QRT, and therefore it is crucial that any candidates must be able to demonstrate delivery of complex infrastructure at scale, which have been delivered through a software and automation driven mindset.

This team develops our Infrastructure DevOps practice across both our public and private cloud infrastructures and therefore experience of delivering tooling across both is a key requirement.

Your present skillset:

• You will have deep knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling and resilience
• You will have deep knowledge of DevOps tooling including Terraform/Ansible and able to demonstrate use of CI/CD technologies such as Github, Jenkins or Gitlab
• You will have strong knowledge of Python, Golang or similar programming and scripting languages
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds

• You will have strong knowledge of Infrastructure metric visualisation using Kibana, Splunk, Prometheus and Grafana
• You will stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our infrastructure automation and DevOps tooling and practices remains cutting-edge.
• As a senior engineer you will partner closely with our research and infrastructure engineering teams and work in a highly collaborative manner.
