ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Lead and create groundbreaking work that positively impacts clients, internal teams, and the broader world. Strive for innovative solutions that set new standards in product design and digital experiences.
• Build strong, lasting relationships with clients, instilling confidence in AKQA’s creative team and leading clients through bold, innovative, and sometimes challenging work that pushes the boundaries of their brand.
• Collaborate closely with strategy teams to shape briefs that empower design teams to deliver work that positions our client’s brand at the forefront of the global market.
• Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary creative teams, nurturing talent in product design, art direction, UX/UI, copywriting, and other areas, ensuring they grow in their craft.
• Work seamlessly with internal and external cross-disciplinary teams to deliver exceptional work that aligns with the high standards AKQA is known for, from initial concept through to execution.
• Have a deep understanding of new and emerging technologies and how they can be leveraged to enhance and innovate product design, user experience, and client engagement.
• Deliver across all project phases: from high-level ideation, original concept development, and strategy, to detailed feature specifications and product execution.
• Manage and inspire teams while ensuring work is both innovative and adheres to the client’s goals, delivering exceptional UI and UX solutions across large-scale projects.

• Demonstrate thought leadership by guiding clients through unfamiliar or uncertain creative directions, ultimately delivering results that position their brand in a stronger, more competitive space.
• Possess a compelling portfolio of globally recognised work that has made a tangible impact on clients’ businesses. A history of producing impactful, results-driven work is essential.
• Deep expertise in product design, combined with skills in art direction or copywriting, and an ability to balance creative and strategic thinking in complex design challenges.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to present confidently to clients, including C-suite executives, and guide them through creative processes.
• Fearless in your creativity, with an infinite drive to innovate and a relentless attention to detail that ensures all work meets the highest standards of quality.
• Adept at managing large-scale, global projects, maintaining a balance between creative integrity and practical deliverables.
• Experience leading product design and development within large teams, with a passion for fostering talent and pushing creative boundaries.
