The Role

To enable our mission, we need to ensure our culture and organisational infrastructure supports performance and engagement. This ranges from diagnosing and designing people development interventions, to supporting M&A activity, to and/or leading on broader organisational development topics. 

We are seeking an Org Design & Development Lead to join our team on a 12 month fixed-term basis. In this role you will partner closely with other P&C teams enabling joined up approaches to some of the key people challenges and opportunities ahead.

Key responsibilities:

  • Utilising org development expertise and insights from key internal stakeholders to diagnose the root cause of challenges teams are facing
  • Building, tailoring and leveraging development solutions for internal clients, delivered at the point-of-need, to enhance team effectiveness
  • Facilitating workshops and discussions for internal clients both virtually and face to face 
  • Working in close partnership with People and Culture Partners to identify, prioritise and deliver solutions for teams requiring strategic investment for development
  • Measuring and demonstrating accelerated team performance in high priority areas of the business 
  • Understanding key cultural trends and functional best practices internally and externally and integrating these into your programmes
  • Leading and/or supporting people onboarding and integration activity in the event of any merger/acquisition 
  • Any other Org design and development responsibilities as requested by the Org Dev lead, such as growing our Org Design & Development portfolio

About You

  • Extensive experience of designing, overseeing and leading engaging and impactful learning sessions (ideally for Tech / Research audiences)
  • You have strong communication and engagement skills and experience of leading others through change. 
  • You are an established HR or OD professional and have experience aligning people practices to fulfil business strategy, and where necessary building innovative HR practices and frameworks yourself.
  • You are a skilled and agile facilitator who can diagnose and manage,  changing and complex people dynamics 
  • You thrive on delivering learning sessions to clients, virtual and/or face-to-face
  • You are able to lead a team from diagnosing a problem, through to solution creation. 
  • Ideally you will also have experience in project and change management, developing and then implementing on roadmaps - adjusting as necessary. 
  • You have proven experience of collaborating as part of a wider project team on a shared topic, using your knowledge to help design, plan and implement solutions.
  • You are open and curious, listening to feedback from others and adjusting your plans based on challenges that arise along the way.
  • You act with confidence and instil trust in everyone you interact with, delivering well thought through solutions - if you don’t know the answer you are tenacious in finding out.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $156000 - $247000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
