Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience with Python and C++, and experience in web technologies and technical troubleshooting.
  • Experience managing projects, internal/external stakeholders, partners or customers.
  • Experience with Machine Learning (e.g., fine tuning, prompt engineering, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Machine Learning libraries and concepts.
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms, large language models or other cutting-edge AI technologies.
  • Experience launching and scaling user-facing, production quality partner integrations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The gTech Users and Products Gemini Partner Engineering team is a highly technical, collaborative and passionate group that brings the best of Gemini to users through partner integrations. The team works closely with first and third-party partners and internal teams to launch innovative integrations through high quality, scalable solutions. The team helps build and productionize scalable solutions for first and third-party partners to make Gemini, the best product for grounded chat-based text creation, refinement, and AI-powered collaboration for our users.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$174,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

  • Drive new partner integrations within Gemini, ensuring a frictionless partner experience. Improve existing partner/user experience and grow user value.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Gemini through partner solutions/processes for partner schema ingestion, data preparation, and quality iterations (e.g., Supervised Fine Tuning, prompt engineering, evaluations). Strive for consistency, ease of use and maintainability, collaborating closely with Engineering. 
  • Influence product strategy and work with cross-functional teams to bring partner-facing features to market.
  • Advocate for seamless partner and user experience and for user and partner success with Engineering and Product teams.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and latest machine learning research, tools and techniques.
