About the Role

 

Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.

 

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Enterprise Business Development who will play a crucial role in our sales organization by recruiting, managing and training our Business Development team members and partnering closely with Sales Management to ensure adequate pipeline generation. You’ll be responsible for management, development and execution of strategic tactics for outbound business development. Further, you will be a key member of our sales leadership team and help shape the development of our BDR program as we expand globally.

 

This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Denver, CO office.

What You’ll Do

 

  • Hire and train a team of BDRs and foster their development as they build meaningful relationships with the Account Executives they support.
  • Execute pipeline generation initiatives to empower the Sales team to secure and close high-value opportunities.
  • Conduct weekly one-on-one sessions with team members to coach them on sales strategies, pipeline and opportunity management, and career growth.
  • Regularly provide internal training on sales techniques, product knowledge, and personal development while fostering a collaborative environment where best practices are developed, shared, and adopted across the team.
  • Organize and host local marketing events for customers and prospects, confidently presenting to groups ranging from 10 to 100 attendees.
  • Actively support the team by joining client and prospect meetings to provide guidance and expertise.
  • Bring a positive, strategic mindset, strong outbound sales expertise, and proficiency in Salesforce, Outreach, and Zoominfo with a passion for learning new technologies in the automated data integration space.

 

Skills We’re Looking For

 

  • This role involves shaping the sales strategy for the Business Development Representative (BDR) team, overseeing a growing organization of 8-10 BDRs.
  • The ideal candidate will bring strong sales leadership experience and a deep understanding of sales cycles, gained through hands-on experience.
  • Expertise in managing an Enterprise outbound-focused team and a thorough approach to MQL follow-up is essential.
  • This leader will drive revenue growth by meeting individual, team, and organizational quotas while contributing to regional sales strategies, executing corporate goals, and collaborating closely with sales leadership.
  • The role requires a proven track record in B2B application sales and team management.
  • Additionally, the Manager will design and execute a sales strategy to capture market share, enhance customer success, and foster the professional growth and skill development of their team.

 

Bonus Skills​

 

  • 4+ years of people leadership skills; Eager to learn how to hire a diverse sales team and comfortable with promoting 30%+ of sales team on an annual basis
  • 3-5 years of individual contributor B2B sales experience with track record of consistently achieving quota
  • Experience leading and closing sophisticated sales cycles across C-Level
  • Track record of encouraging positive relationships across customers, business partners, and peers

Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, business need, market demands. This range represents base salary only and does not include incentive for sales roles, equity, or  benefits, if applicable. 


Pay Range
$112,602$140,752.50 USD
