We are seeking a People Systems Manager to lead and optimize our Workday platform and other people systems. This individual will play a critical role in managing, enhancing, and streamlining our People technology to support CLEAR’s growing and evolving workforce.
As the primary Workday HCM system administrator, you will oversee daily operations, including managing business processes, integrations, reporting, and dashboards, to support Our Great People.
What you'll do:
- Workday Platform Management:
- Manage and maintain Workday configurations, including HCM, Absence, Scheduling, Talent, Time Tracking, and Payroll modules
- Partner within the People team and cross-functionally to help stakeholders design solutions using Workday
- Proactive management of bi-annual Workday Release Cycles
- Deploy additional Workday modules including Peakon, Talent, and others as needed
- Identify system gaps and deficiencies, and if applicable, suggest best practices or process improvements to help fill those gaps
- People Systems & Integrations:
- Oversee integrations between Workday and other systems (e.g. Okta, Greenhouse, Fountain, HireRight, LMS, time clocks, and other third-party platforms)
- Implement additional tools/systems and integrations with other platforms as needed
- User Support & Training:
- Act as the subject matter expert for Workday, providing support and training to People Partners and leaders
- Develop user guides, FAQs, and training materials to drive system adoption and efficiency
- Data & Reporting:
- Design and deliver dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making
- Monitor system performance and proactively address any issues
- Compliance & Security:
- Ensure systems adhere to data privacy regulations, SOX compliance, and internal compliance standards
- Maintain system security and manage user access
How you'll measure success:
- Workday and related systems are optimized to meet business needs with minimal disruptions
- Successful deployment of additional Workday modules (e.g., Peakon, Talent) within agreed timelines and aligned with business objectives
- Stakeholders and end users feel supported through proactive training and effective troubleshooting
- High-quality dashboards and reports are delivered to drive data-driven decision-making
- Systems comply with data privacy regulations, SOX compliance standards, and internal controls
- A measurable reduction in manual tasks through system enhancements, automations, and process improvements, increasing efficiency across the People Team
What you're great at:
- Deep Workday expertise, with 4–6 years of system administration experience across multiple modules (HCM, Talent, Absence, Time Tracking, etc.)
- Managing integrations between HR systems and external platforms (e.g., ATS, LMS, Snowflake, timeclocks, Okta)
- Understand Workday business processes and security, SOX compliance and audit process, and necessary controls and documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborating cross-functionally and communicating effectively with technical and non-technical teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workday certification(s) in HCM, Security, Reporting, Business Process, and Integrations
- Experience with additional HR tools (e.g., Greenhouse, Fountain, HireRight, LMS platforms, etc.)
- Looker experience
- Familiarity with AI tools, change management, or system implementations
- Experience with a large hourly workforce

The base salary range for this role is $135,000-$165,000, depending on levels of skills and experience.
The base salary range represents the low and high end of CLEAR’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of CLEAR’s total compensation package for employees and other rewards may include annual bonuses, commission, Restricted Stock Units
