The Difference You Will Make:
As Manager, Supply Quality, you will drive the implementation, improvement, and engagement on critical Host policies and standards.
A Typical Day:
- Collaborate with the Host Policy and Standards team to understand and align on policy objectives, updates, and changes.
- Coordinate policy implementation efforts with operations teams, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance.
- Monitor and assess policy implementation progress, identifying challenges, and proposing solutions for improvement.
- Develop a deep understanding of policy requirements and implications to effectively communicate and explain policy decisions to senior executives.
- Analyze policy-related data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations for policy improvements and adjustments.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure Airbnb's policies remain effective and compliant.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across different teams to foster collaboration and alignment.
Your Expertise:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Total 10+ years of experience in product, project and operations management with 4+ years of experience in policy formulation and implementation. An ideal candidate needs to have a very strong understanding of policy development and implementation processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex policies to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess policy impact, identify issues, and propose solutions.
- Proven ability to collaborate and drive intended outcomes with cross-functional teams. Build relationships with and influence stakeholders across geographies .
- Familiarity with the short-term rental industry (or other network businesses)and/or experience working in a regulatory environment is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving work environment.
