​​Within Azure Data, the databases team builds and maintains Microsoft's operational Database systems. We store and manage data in a structured way to enable multitude of applications across various industries. We are on a journey to enable developer friendly, mission-critical, AI enabled operational Databases across relational, non-relational and OSS offerings.​ 

​​Azure Cosmos DB is one of the fastest growing Azure services, the engineering investment made over the years led to a healthy service which allows us to add industry leading features at rapid pace. It is expected that the same level of rigor is maintained on every subsequent feature release. 
 
We are looking for highly motivated and self-driven individuals who are passionate of developing high performance, low latency, infinitely scalable, complex frameworks/libraries/experiences covering Cosmos DB distributed protocols, to be used by customers across the globe in business critical workloads. These workloads capture the needs of the hobbyist developer to the Fortune 500 companies. This job requires a broad set of developer and program management skills.
