Across stores, an unprecedented wave of legislations started impacting our selling partner experience, constraining selection and jeopardizing growth. To address this, we are seeking a diligent and experienced De-risking Program Manager to join our team and support with the implementation of the Three Lines of Defense (3LoD) process specifically tailored to address account and product compliance regulations impacting our 3P business worldwide. As the De-risking Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal risks associated with one or more program level components, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and helping de-risk sellers by working across stakeholders to build awesome seller experience which requires least amount of effort for sellers. This is a unique opportunity to manage a product and program setup that has multi-billion-dollar impact for Amazon. The candidate should have strong communication skills to work closely with stakeholders across multiple stores and functions. This is a high visibility role across WW Director and VP groups at Amazon and will own the VP level goal to deliver seller GMS de-risking at 95% pre-enforcement.
In this role you will:
• Initiate, define, plan and manage the roll out of the program features and enhancements required to de-risking process and tools based on requirements across legislations in the account and product compliance space
• Own creation and alignment of seller enforcement strategy for high-impact regulations across legal, policy programs, 3P & CT (Customer Trust) leadership stakeholders
• Work with global account management teams to drive seller outreach and de-risking goals
• Own weekly and monthly reporting on the state of the initiatives you own. Utilize metrics to deep-dive into issues, shape risk appetite of leadership & and uncover business-driving trends and patterns
• Manage engagement with multiple stakeholders in US, China and EU including Tax, Legal, Operations, Tech, Compliance, Customer Trust Policy programs and FBA.
Key job responsibilities
1. Align on enforcement strategy with Director (& above) leadership – Enforcement action type, tool, RACI matrix etc.
2. Launch & track key controls – Impact to Strategic Sellers/HVL/AHA, PRE, reason code setup, classification audits, etc.
3. Onboarding to deliver standard seller experience through Account health dashboard, account health rating, communications
4. Deploy all de-risking channels (8+), tracking derisking, weekly leadership reporting, monthly goal reporting
A day in the life
Be the Voice of Seller as teams across Amazon plan implementation of new regulations, Present & negotiate on enforcement strategy on seller's behalf, Partner with teams to implement derisking channels across regulations, Track rate of derisking for each regulation at channel/seller/store level, Dive deep on seller feedback on Amazon's pre & post enforcement experience and drive process, program, technology improvements.

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 5+ years of managing stakeholders in cross-functional project experience- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- 5+ years of regulatory and risk management experience
- Strong communication skills to work closely with stakeholders across multiple stores and functions, self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, strong attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced landscape, exert influence without authority

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
