About the Team

Help HubSpot’s internal sales teams become the most efficient and effective in the industry by creating AI-powered tools to eliminate repetitive tasks, enhance collaboration, and drive consistent deal progression.

Our goal is to enable each sales rep to improve deal velocity, adopt best practices seamlessly, and spend more time engaging with prospects/customers, providing an excellent buying experience.

We aim to create a HubSpot CRM that will be an AI-powered Deal partner for our Sales Reps that aligns around three key themes: Assist, Guide, and Coach.

 

Key Expectations for Technical Lead II:

  • A Tech Lead II is a player-coach responsible for leading a small team. 
  • They are recognised as high-performing engineers.
  • They collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, and other Tech Leads in their family to define and share relevant, compelling, and challenging goals for their team.
  • They work across teams with other TLs to resolve cross-team issues.
  • They proactively take ownership of their team’s on-call health and product reliability and quality.
  • They have an interest and opinion in the direction of the product.  They do not defer this over to the PM, PD, or others.  Instead, they are an active member of the team’s leadership triad, co-setting the direction for the team.
  • They proactively look to grow the members of their team to enable them to take on harder and harder tasks.  
  • They are creating and fostering diverse teams and an inclusive culture.

 

We’re looking for:

  • Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and React
  • 6+ years of professional front-end development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Leadership experience and ability to influence technical direction.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact front-end projects.
  • Previous experience working on Generative AI powered solutions a plus
