We are seeking a Team Lead Project Manager to oversee and manage all Project Managers involved in our Special Projects initiative. This leadership role will help drive innovation in project and program management disciplines across a variety of global projects, including distributed networks, data center expansions, internal tooling development, and other strategic initiatives.

As the Team Lead, you will manage a portfolio of complex, interrelated projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals while guiding a diverse team of Project Managers and technical engineers to deliver results on time and within budget. You’ll also play a key role in developing and refining tools, processes, and workflows that improve efficiency and effectiveness.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead and manage a team of Project Managers, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and goals.
  • Oversee a portfolio of complex global initiatives, including data center expansions, network connectivity projects, and tool development.
  • Define project scopes, timelines, and objectives while coordinating resources to ensure successful delivery.
  • Establish and evolve best practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to enhance project and program management capabilities.
  • Drive feasibility studies, vendor selection processes, and proposal evaluations for review by key stakeholders.
  • Review and analyze legal and financial documents to inform project decisions.
  • Actively contribute fresh ideas, champion innovation, and address process pain points within the team.
  • Develop and execute effective internal communication strategies, ensuring alignment and transparency across all levels of the team and management.

WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) 

  • Experience: 5-6 years in project and program management, with a focus on data centers and network connectivity.
  • Proven Leadership: Track record of successfully leading complex projects and programs to completion, on time and within budget.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to present to executive sponsors and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.
  • Problem Solving: Creative and analytical thinker with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and team building.
  • Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with modern project management tools (e.g., Atlassian suite) and methodologies like Agile and Kanban.
  • Data-Driven: Skilled in developing dashboards and reports that synthesize data from multiple sources for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Financial Acumen: Experience in building financial models for projects and negotiating vendor contracts.
  • Adaptability: Self-motivated and decisive, with the ability to navigate competing demands and dynamic environments.
