Couriers are the cornerstone of Glovo’s marketplace. We are seeking a Senior Analyst who can strike the perfect balance between creativity and data-driven precision, turning seemingly impossible projects into reality.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering insights and data to drive the core strategies of the Courier Supply Excellence team. By leveraging analytics, you will be globally in charge of the Glovo bad weather management, from technical weather detection to identifying methods to enhance courier engagement while maximizing profitability. The KPIs you will influence are crucial to operations, as every decision made will directly affect the whole operational investment during bad weather. 

 

BE A PART OF A TEAM WHERE YOU WILL:

  • Oversee the consolidation and implementation of the company’s bad weather bonus strategy.
  • Support in defining the global strategy and key initiatives to win during bad weather.
  • Ensure the strategy is effectively communicated and consistently applied across all locations.
  • Proactively address key challenges at local, regional and global levels.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of the strategy, making adjustments as needed to meet Glovo KPIs.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to leadership on project status and any arising issues.
  • Develop analytical frameworks and models, while effectively communicating with the entire department.
  • Dive deep into data to identify key factors and actions to improve KPIs, taking accountability for outcomes.
  • Evaluate strategic opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative analyses and A/B tests.
  • Understand and address local and regional needs by stepping into the shoes of the couriers and truly understanding their perspective.

YOU HAVE

  • Degree in Engineering, Maths or any data driven domain.
  • +2 years of work experience providing internal teams with the necessary data to make the right decisions and proven experience on actionate those insights  (this is a must).
  •  Banking / financial/consulting background is a plus. 
  • Strong analytical and coding skills: Python, SQL and Excel proficiency (or extensive coding experience), and BI platforms experience (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI,…)
  • Strong strategic vision and business mindset.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Comfortable to break down complex problems into solutions.
  • Comfortable working in a high-growth and high-performance environment, dealing with ambiguity while maintaining a positive mindset.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (English is a must)
  • Proactive, organized, and obsessed with detail.
