We're seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) team in Mexico and drive strategic transformation through advanced insights. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining data solutions that support our vendor management program, working closely with Brand Specialists, Team Leads, and business stakeholders to drive data-driven decision making.
Key job responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data solutions to support key business initiatives and vendor management programs.
- Develop and maintain automated dashboards and reporting systems to track key performance indicators across multiple business dimensions.
- Support the implementation and optimization of business intelligence tools by providing data infrastructure and analytics support.
- Create and maintain ETL pipelines to consolidate data from multiple enterprise sources and systems
- Partner with Product Managers and Team Leads to develop data-driven insights for strategic decision making.
- Build and maintain predictive models to optimize resource allocation and business operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation through data analysis.
- Create and maintain documentation for data models, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Monitor data quality and implement processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared)
- Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)- Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design
- Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis
