The Role -
As Neo4j’s HRIS Analyst, you will be responsible for the support, maintenance, and optimization of the organization’s Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). You will be instrumental in ensuring the integrity of HR data, supports HR processes through technology, and partners with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to implement system enhancements and troubleshoot issues. You will also enable data-driven decision-making by generating accurate reports and insights and contributing to key HR initiatives and process improvements.
Core Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the organization's core HRIS; BambooHR
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR system-related inquiries, technical issues, and user support
- Translate business objectives and user needs into clearly written technical requirements
- Document system configurations, processes, procedures, and provide training to HR and end users
- Partner with HR, Finance and IT to maintain and improve the HRIS, including configuration, end-user access, security, and system efficiency
- Configure and maintain system workflows, business processes, user roles, permissions, and ensure the team is optimizing the platform
- Create and deliver scheduled and ad hoc HR reports and dashboards to support compliance and data-driven decision-making, using statistical methods to analyze key HR metrics (e.g., turnover, retention, time-to-hire) and uncover actionable trends and insights.
- Create and deliver scheduled and ad hoc HR reports and dashboards to support compliance and decision-making
- Conduct routine data audits to ensure data integrity and partner with HR Operations to reconcile discrepancies
- Support and manage integrations between HRIS and other HR platforms, including but not limited to Greenhouse, 15Five, and Charthop
- Work with team across the globe to ensure compliance with global privacy regulations
- Support critical system maintenance and operational tasks within the HRIS
- Support key HR programs such as onboarding, performance management, compensation planning, and compliance reporting
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in HRIS administration or HR systems support
- Hands-on experience with BambooHR and Workday
- Experience with ATS such as Greenhouse is a plus
- Strong understanding of core HR processes, data flows, and employee lifecycle management
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and reporting/visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or system-native tools)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with system implementations or migrations is a plus
- Familiarity with data integrations, APIs, and/or SQL is a plus
