Hi there! Thanks for stopping by 👋

Are you actively looking for a new opportunity? Or just checking the market? Well… you might just be in the right place!

We’re looking for a Staff Product Manager (PM IV) to join our Golf team on Lightspeed’s Shared Services team. In this role, you will own the product direction, strategy, and implementation for a key area of the golf product. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to define priorities and shape your roadmap. The Golf team’s mission is to make Lightspeed Golf the recognized industry leader (by marketshare) in golf management software for public, semi-private, Multi-Course Operators(MCOs), and Resorts in North America. This role is a unique opportunity to take the Golf platform to the next level. Your focus will be on reducing fragmentation within our offering by:

  • Centralizing reporting and data across the golf ecosystem
  • Unifying the experience for our courses that leverage our third party integrations
  • Augmenting our API with the functionality our integration partners need most

This dynamic position requires the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal teams and stakeholders, be productive and adaptable in the face of evolving business priorities, and be able to take responsibility and ownership in coming up with solutions for our courses’ biggest pain points.  If you are a dedicated problem-solver and are ready to play a key part in tripling the golf business at Lightspeed, then this is the position for you.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Product Strategy Development: Define and execute the product strategy for a key area of Golf’s three year vision.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, integration partnerships, and go to market teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of the critical Golf features
  • Roadmap Management: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business goals and customer needs.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance metrics to ensure the product meets business objectives and delivers value to our integrators and our courses.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update stakeholders on product progress, challenges, and opportunities.

What you need to bring:

Successful candidates must have a proven product management track record in SaaS products at scale.

  • 5-8 years of experience in product management ideally within ecommerce and/or SaSS products.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading cross-functional teams, driving product vision, and executing product roadmaps in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to a diverse audience, including senior leadership, technical teams, and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A deep passion for enhancing user experiences through technology, with a customer-centric approach to solving problems and delivering value.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to forge strong relationships across the organization, influence without authority, and lead teams toward shared goals and successful outcomes.
  • Expertise in product management and Agile/Scrum product development life cycles, as well as building and delivering high-quality software on time
  • A solid understanding of setting, measuring, and improving product success metrics
  • Familiarity working in parallel with multiple squads across different time-zones
  • Ability to lead client discovery, solutioning, and alignment conversations
  • Understanding of product strategy development and roadmapping tools

Even better if you have, but not necessary:

  • Experience building platforms
  • Understanding of the golf industry and integration partners
  • Retail and eCommerce industry experience
