Research Scientist Intern, Scanning Eye-Tracking Systems (PhD)

Meta Reality Labs (Redmond, WA) is looking for interns to help create the next generation of eye tracking for virtual and augmented reality. Our research focuses on true solutions to complex tracking problems, delivering novel technologies and algorithms fundamental to future VR and AR systems. You’ll have the unique opportunity to work with industry-leading researchers and engineers who are defining the future of AR/VR. We welcome PhD students in biomedical imaging, computer vision, machine learning, optics, robotics, electrical engineering, applied physics or similar. In particular, we are looking for candidates with experience in extracting motion from video, simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM), and 3D computer vision techniques. We welcome students with a passion for working in a strongly collaborative team that spans research across algorithms, software, hardware design, and systems prototyping. Our team at Meta Reality Labs offers twelve (12) to twenty four (24) week long internships and we have various start dates throughout the year. Some projects may require a minimum of sixteen (16) consecutive weeks.
