Position Summary:
The Senior Manager of Microsoft Security Programs in the Americas is integral to driving Pax8's Microsoft Security revenue by supporting dedicated Microsoft resources responsible for enhancing partner revenue, reach, frequency, and yield through the management of Microsoft Security Programs. This individual will execute sales strategies to manage the pipeline effectively, aligning sales plays with strategic revenue and company targets to mobilize partners to adopt Microsoft products.
Additionally, the Senior Manager will play a crucial role in increasing participation in Microsoft Programs by managing all Microsoft Security Program strategies and cultivating Pax8’s relationship with the Microsoft Security Business team in the Americas. They will develop and implement strategic program and sales plans that align with revenue and other company objectives, collaborating with various business functions to achieve program targets.
The responsibilities further include driving key business leader briefings, innovating current processes, building strategic plans, and executing training initiatives to meet program goals. The Senior Manager will also enable Pax8 Sales teams and partners by providing the necessary support and guidance to ensure the overall success of the Microsoft Security Programs at Pax8.
Essential Responsibilities and Percentage of Time Spent:
- Manage the strategic relationship with the Microsoft Partner Development Manager (PDM), Partner Solution Specialist (PSS) for Security and Microsoft Sales and MS Program Owners for Americas. Leads and participates Microsoft + Pax8 Security Events and training.
- Build and continuously update a sustainable Security program business plan utilizing Microsoft templates and guidance of Director of Microsoft Programs, Americas, and manages innovation, creation, and collaboration across departments to drive Pax8 revenue /reach/frequency/yield by maintaining a tight alignment with cross-departmental stakeholder. Participate in Microsoft MBR’s, QBR’s, and program specific calls.
- Oversee the project management of all Microsoft Security Programs and create repeatable/scalable solutions, partner readiness and program innovations, that drive partner and Pax8 revenue. Maintaining tight alignment with Microsoft Go to Market, Academy, Finance, Marketing, and peers to drive Security Pax8 and partner program participation and revenue.
- Provide reporting on program activity progress, sales performance, and incremental investments for Security to Microsoft on strategic programs allowing both Microsoft and Pax8 to maintain a direct vision for growth.
- Deliver weekly/monthly/quarterly updates for Security Microsoft Sales and Programs to the Director of Microsoft Programs, Americas including sales performance, incremental investments, program activity, and OKR’s
- Act as “business advisor” and evangelize areas of next logical practice that are appropriate for the sales floor that drive partner revenue and program participation. Additionally, oversee the KPI’s for dedicated sales headcount by managing educational and certification initiatives for the region, that align with the global initiatives.
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- Four (4) years’ min experience in Channel Sales, preferably IT Channel or Four (4) years’ experience in a technical sales or engineer role tied to the Microsoft Security Suite.
- Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft portfolio of products.
- Attainment of the SC900, MS900, AZ900 certifications.
- Strong presentation and communication skills. Demonstrable ability to design and deliver training, executive presentations and innovations in 1:1 and 1: many settings.
- Proven success in selling through the indirect channel or Microsoft direct; passion for empowering partners to serve their customers.
- Proven success in creating scalable business plans to drive the business, analyze results and make appropriate modifications to continually improve execution.
- Ability to apply knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals.
- Ability to paint a compelling picture of the vision and strategy that motivates others to action.
- Ability to engage cross-functionally to request resources, collaborate and coordinate multiple projects.
- Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.

Required Education & Certifications:
- B.A./B.S. in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of $115,000 to $140,000, or more depending on experience.
