Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export control regulations.

Key job responsibilities
• Design deal structures, business terms, guardrails, guidelines, policies, and metrics and create frameworks that impact customer outcomes.
• Act as trusted advisor and thought leader in the development of commercial strategy and deals: partner in the execution of the deal sales cycle for strategic commercial opportunities.
• Provide insights into deal economics and pricing strategies to enable deal negotiations to achieve the best possible outcome for customers and the business.
• Facilitate alignment and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to resolve conflict and encourage develop productive interactions
• Cultivate best practices through analysis and reporting in support of continuous improvements
• Own, manage, and drive velocity of term sheets and definitive agreements to streamline the deal cycle.
• Conduct deal reviews with Finance, Product, Legal, Accounting, Tax, Regulatory, Engineering, and other partner teams to influence and facilitate alignment, approvals, and compliance to deliver business outcomes.
• Hire, develop, and train the deal team on best practices and guidelines to follow for proposals, pricing, approvals, and contracting processes and policies.
• Capture and analyze customer insights to drive strategic shifts in product offering, service plans and pricing, and business terms to enable business growth.
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
- Experience in a professional field or military
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Demonstrated success working with customers on the structuring of substantial, strategic, and complex deals (relative to industry and market size) from opportunity through closure
- Experience working with, presenting to, and negotiating with C-level executives, IT, lines of business, procurement, finance, and legal and internal stakeholders for sizeable commercial/enterprise deals
- Proven expertise with financial modeling for commercial pricing terms- Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner
- Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations
