Location: London - Hybrid, with travel to global events as needed

Salary: £70,000 - £85,000

Team: Marketing

Reporting To: Head of Marketing Communications

What will I be doing?

We’re looking for a strategic and commercially-minded Events Lead to elevate Kaluza’s presence through high-impact events that drive Kaluza's origination efforts and brand building efforts. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop a solid understanding of Kaluza's value proposition and Go-to-market strategy and embed that knowledge into developing and executing winning events strategies.
  • Build a calendar of industry and owned events that accelerate commercial outcomes and brand awareness in our target markets with a laser focus on account based marketing.
  • Cultivate compelling experiences that enable us to demonstrate Kaluza’s software with impact, showcasing our technology effectively through engaging live and digital experiences.
  • Expertly negotiate sponsorship packages and optimise budget allocation, ensuring maximum ROI for each event.
  • Build and manage relationships with agencies, vendors, and third parties to support seamless event execution and deliver high-impact results.
  • Be a catalyst for client engagement, designing event experiences that build meaningful relationships and trust with Kaluza’s target audience.
  • Strategically profile our speakers working closely with the Comms team, positioning them as thought leaders to reinforce Kaluza’s industry authority.
  • Show more than a slight obsession about creative brand activations that make Kaluza unmissable and unforgettable in busy event halls.
  • Work closely with the Growth Marketing and Content Marketing Leads to integrate digital marketing tactics, ensuring impactful messaging and continuity across campaigns.
  • Communicate event summaries and key wins with the wider organisation, fostering transparency and alignment on event outcomes and how our external initiatives support the broader business strategy.
  • Define and track KPIs, analyse event performance, and apply insights to refine strategy and boost ROI.

About You 

In order to set you up for success as Events Lead at Kaluza, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Extensive experience in B2B event marketing, ideally within the technology or energy sectors, managing a full spectrum of events including owned, sponsored, and digital.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure high-value sponsorship opportunities.
  • Laser focused on driving measurable outcomes and ensuring strategic alignment with business goals.
  • Thoughtful and purposeful communicator; able to galvanise internal stakeholders and cultivate effective relationships with external partners.
  • Creative and impactful with brand activations, with a talent for delivering unique experiences that reinforce Kaluza’s brand values.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a balance of strategic vision and hands-on executional capability.
