PERM Program Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of Apple's PERM Program, from initiation to labor market testing to filing, by collaborating closely with legal counsel and cross-functional internal teams to ensure smooth and compliant processes. Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to streamline the PERM application process, reducing delays and increasing efficiency. Document Collection and Audit Preparation: Collect and organize supporting documentation, such as recruitment results and proof of advertisements, to ensure preparedness for potential audits. Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between legal, hiring managers, and the People team, providing regular updates on Apple’s PERM program. Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all processes adhere to government regulations, including record-keeping and advertising timelines, to mitigate risk of application denial or audits. Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to Apple employees on PERM processes, requirements, and best practices to ensure proper handling of cases. Project Management and Team Support: Assist the broader immigration team with other immigration-related projects as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience building and maintaining large scalable PERM programs
  • 10+ years of overall U.S. immigration experience related experience/similar experience with a multi-national company
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws and regulations, including non-immigrant and immigrant visa categories
  • Minimum of BA/BS or equivalent is required

  • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability according to changing needs and priorities
  • Successful track record partnering with all levels of clients and partners (HR, Recruiting, Business leaders, etc.)
  • Develop, design and conduct training for stakeholders on ongoing basis in relation to U.S. green card matters
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to use data and analytics to build insights for planning purposes, reporting on trends and key data to develop the program further
  • Experience with Mac OS and workday knowledge is a plus

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,200 and $255,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
