The Job

We’re looking for a Freelance SEO Content Specialist to support the production of high-quality, medically reviewed content for our Health Library.

At Flo, we believe in creating genuinely helpful, fact-checked, and medically accurate health content. Our approach to SEO is about quality and authenticity - we don’t stuff keywords or chase artificial links. Instead, we focus on engaging, trustworthy content that helps our readers find the answers they need.

This is a flexible freelance role, ideal for mid to senior-level SEO content professionals who are passionate about women’s health.

We are looking for an independent contractor (EU time zone) with a compensation of between €1500-€3000, based on experience.

Your Experience

Must have:

  • Experience in large-scale SEO content production.
  • Ability to conduct keyword research in English and five priority languages (FR, ES, PT, DE, IT) using Google Translate and Ahrefs (no fluency in these languages required).
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills to oversee content production from an SEO perspective.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for:

As our Freelance SEO Content Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and successful SEO content production process, including:

  • Content Planning: Aligning keyword research with Flo’s business priorities.
  • Content Brief Creation: Providing clear and actionable briefs for writers.
  • SEO Review: Reviewing articles throughout their production process to ensure they align with SEO best practices.
  • Final QA: Checking if the articles are correctly published and are not missing elements provided in the brief.

Additionally, you will support our localisation efforts by:

  • Identifying high-priority keywords in our five key languages.
  • Creating briefs for the localisation team.
  • QA and reviewing translated content to maintain SEO standards.

Hiring Process:

  • Face-to-face meeting with 1-2 team members;
  • Take-home-task, for which you’ll be compensated;
  • If successful, a quick meet-and-greet with the rest of the team.
