As a Procurement & Logistics Coordinator, you’ll manage the global lifecycle of acquiring, transporting, and deploying critical technology equipment. From vendor coordination and compliance with international regulations to inventory management and process optimization, you’ll ensure quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role is perfect for someone passionate about IT procurement and logistics, ready to make an impact.
What You’ll Do:
- Handle the full logistics cycle on a global scale, including importing, exporting, internal reporting, and compliance.
- Create vendor consistency globally by streamlining communications related to quotes, delivery estimates, and pricing.
- Apply strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills to effectively process requests.
- Ensure quality, cost, delivery, service, and innovation expectations are clearly communicated to external suppliers and work to ensure those expectations are met.
- Assist with the full purchasing cycle, including quoting, purchasing, receiving, inventory tracking, and payment reconciliation.
- Oversee the arrival of equipment with appropriate staff for receiving and installation, including opening inbound ticket requests.
- Maintain an inventory of frequently used items, track usage patterns, and proactively order gear as needed.
- Confirm costs against approved purchase orders and verify invoice accuracy.
- Coordinate equipment liquidations as needed.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in trading infrastructure operations and add value to the team through a can-do attitude and self-starting approach.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Skills You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of professional experience.
- Prior experience with IT-related procurement is preferred.
- Experience working with U.S. and international customs, including importing, exporting, and taxation requirements.
- A strong interest or experience in automation is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio.
- Proven persistence and problem-solving ability when facing obstacles.
- Strong internal customer service skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and shift focus as business needs evolve.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of or exposure to USITC and the Harmonized Tariff Schedule is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with third-party shipping coordinators to facilitate international shipping.
- Reliable and predictable availability, including the ability to be onsite 5 days per week.
