The mission of the Amazon gift card team is to inspire people around the globe to gift or transact with confidence. We own global products and features that aim to delight customers during the gifting experience. Our products are designed to drive incremental sales for Amazon by introducing new customers to our store and incentivizing existing customers to return to the Earth’s most customer-centric company.

The Amazon Gift Card leader owns the worldwide product strategy for digital gift cards. They are responsible for developing and executing the strategy for digital gift cards within the Amazon.com channel. This leader drives our vision with Tech, Category Leaders, and external partners. This leader ensures that the creation of features, services, or CX are geographically extensible and customer-focused. They own the overall product roadmap, development requirements, and the cost benefit analysis of various components. This leader must have a strong aptitude for decision-making and an ability to use data to identify the pain points and make fast adjustments. This leader must determine the right integrations to solve these problems while balancing the needs of the CX to change customer behavior. To do this, they work closely with region specific PM’s, UX, Tech, and partners to generate work flows for different products to meet regional legislation.
You should be an effective communicator capable of independently driving issues to resolution and communicating insights to non-technical and technical audiences. This is a high impact role with goals that directly impacts the bottom line of the business. The role is inherently cross-functional; you will work closely with tech, UX design and research, data science, applied science, program management, legal, and marketing to deliver products that enhance the customer experience.


Key job responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
• Defining the vision, animating that product vision for stakeholders, and bringing the vision to life
• Building and owning the long-term roadmap to drive growth of Amazon digital gift card products on Amazon.com.
• Developing customer obsessed programs and mechanisms to ensure customer feedback is understood across our organization (tech, sales, finance etc.) and acted upon in a timely manner.
• Owning end to end programs to drive growth of our program with key customer segments and channels; delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
• Strong understanding of metrics and solutions related to privacy considerations, usage of the broader Amazon payment data, and full funnel acquisition and conversion.

- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
