Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in partnerships management or business development in online advertising, data onboarding, or adtech.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing complex, end-to-end partnerships.
  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Experience with Google's privacy-related/measurement products, (e.g., Enhanced Conversions, First Party Mode, Consent Mode, Value Based Bidding, Store Sales).
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

The EMEA Ads team, within Knowledge and Information Partnerships, drives Google's advertising through strategic partnerships. Collaborating across departments, we launch and manage ad products. The EMEA Performance and Privacy Ads Partnerships sub-team specializes in innovative, privacy-focused measurement solutions, enhancing ad performance through key partnerships.

We seek a Strategic Partner Development Manager with deep knowledge of Google Ads, particularly privacy-focused products. This role is pivotal in navigating the evolving EMEA landscape of privacy, regulation, and technology, safeguarding and boosting Google's business.

You will manage and develop partnerships around key privacy and performance products, requiring strong partner management, meticulous attention to detail, and expertise in contracting, business analysis, and commercial strategy. You will grow in ambiguity and foster cross-functional alignment.

You will build and strengthen relationships, ensuring mutual success for Google, its partners, and advertisers. You will be working closely with Product, Sales, Legal, and other teams, you will implement partnerships and manage existing ones, driving innovation and growth in a fluid environment. This role demands a passion for business development and a proactive approach to navigating complex issues.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

  • Develop an understanding of Google advertising products and strategy, in particular Performance and Privacy Centric Measurement products.
  • Negotiate and sign contracts with key partners (e.g., tech companies, consultancies, advertising agencies) to support Google’s initiatives in the data/privacy/measurement space, (e.g., Enhanced Conversions, First Party Mode, Consent Mode, Value Based Bidding.
  • Cultivate key partner relationships, drive product adoption and expansion, and ensure operational excellence through metrics, SLAs, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Partnerships team members as well as colleagues in the Go-to-Market, Global Product Lead, and Product teams to identify opportunities to grow these partnerships
  • Drive strategic partnership growth plans, keep all stakeholders informed on key developments, and bring new opportunities to the partnership
