As a Sr. Account Executive within the grocery vertical, you will report to a Sr. Sales Manager and use your experience selling digital advertising solutions to the Fortune 500 C-Level and their ad agencies to successfully grow and scale the category’s domestic revenues. With your broad and long-standing client-side and agency relationships within the grocery/CPG world, consultative approach and deep understanding of the digital and programmatic advertising landscape, you will act as a strategic partner to your assigned clients and sell a broad range of advertising solutions that will ensure that their business goals are met. As an individual contributor, you’ll be supported by our operations team and will benefit from working alongside the leadership team that has charted our explosive growth.


Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will work on a top US LCS (Large Customer Sales) and grocery enterprise account, Coca-Cola. The account includes the entirety of Coca-Cola’s portfolio of brands spanning Coke Trademark, Flavors and Nutrition (e.g. Sprite), and Hydration (e.g. smartwater), and acquisitions Fairlife Core Power and BODYARMOR. The role encompasses their corresponding agencies. You will work alongside 4 other Sr. Account Executives who manage the Coca-Cola relationship. Your specific purview will be Coca-Cola’s ad tech and programmatic strategy and investments spanning brand and E-commerce KPIs, audience planning, consumer data strategy, analytics and measurement, and creative. You will accelerate their education and usage of Amazon’s technology solutions, Amazon DSP and Amazon Marketing Cloud, to help them advance their priorities and future proof their business. Your key stakeholders will be Coca-Cola and WPP’s Executive, End-to-End, Connected Commerce, Programmatic and Measurement and Analytics teams.

A day in the life
- Client relationship building: events, entertainment, etc.
- Unlocking net new client stakeholders
- Understanding customer needs
- Pitching customers Amazon solutions based on those needs
- Coordinating partner teams to deliver on client's needs and prioritize net new opportunities
- Interfacing with agency and client stakeholders
- Closing revenue
- Educating clients on Amazon's solutions, in particular programmatic/ADSP/AMC• 5+ years of B2B sales experience
• 7+ years of digital media ad sales experience
• 5+ years of B2B sales across fortune 500 advertisers and agencies experience
• Experience closing sales and revenue generation
• 3+ years of Programmatic/Ad Tech experience

• Experience building new customer relationships within brand and agency teams
• Experience closing upfront agreements with large advertising customers

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
