The Silicon and Cloud Hardware and Infrastructure Engineering (SCHIE) is the team behind Microsoft’s expanding Cloud Infrastructure responsible for powering Microsoft’s “Intelligent Cloud” mission. SCHIE delivers the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox, Skype, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform globally with our server and datacenter infrastructure, security and compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability solutions. As Microsoft's cloud business continues to grow, the ability to support the silicon and hardware engineering efforts is of paramount importance. To achieve this goal, the SCHIE Hardware Lab Management Team is instrumental in partnering and providing the engineering teams with critical hardware lab space, resources, and support.  This position is responsible for working on a variety of technical problems of standard scope. Performs program management activities within a technical program team. Collaborates and communicates across multiple teams and functions within the Azure, Hardware, Systems & Infrustructure (AHSI) across the other AZURE organizations.

We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and directing a cross functional team of individual contributors and managers to ensure compliance of current project management office (PMO) processes and governance. This role involves establishing and maintaining program management standards, aligning organizational objectives and key results (OKRs) with agile/scrum methodology, and overseeing the implementation of application tools to enhance Lab Management capabilities across the organization.
