You’ll join a collaborative team of developers, product managers, and designers who are passionate about using technology to foster a kinder, more connected world. Throughout your internship, you’ll be immersed in Nextdoor’s dynamic community and attend events that promote your professional and personal development, beginning with a thorough onboarding process. You’ll join team meetings, pair-programming sessions, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), training and workshops, social events, coffee chats with our leadership team, a global volunteer day, and more! As a software engineer intern, you'll start contributing to our engineering stack and pushing code to production within your first two weeks. You'll engage in every phase of product development, from conception to launch and performance measurement, owning a project and collaborating with your team under the guidance of a mentor suited to your expertise in Mobile (Android/iOS), Web front-end, or backend infrastructure (Kotlin/Python/Go).
Over 12 weeks, you’ll gain hands-on experience solving real-world problems and defining features while collaborating closely with teammates across the organization, including data scientists, product managers, and designers in our San Francisco headquarters. Perks & Benefits
The salary for this role is $3,900, paid semi-monthly, plus a semi-monthly housing stipend of $1,000.
