Job Description

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by 👋

Are you actively looking for a new opportunity? Or just checking the market? Well… you might just be in the right place!

We’re looking for a Product Manager II to join our Retail team. Reporting to the Group Product Manager,  you will be responsible for ensuring the best possible end-to-end experience for Lightspeed retailers, by gaining a deep understanding of the retailer landscape and its challenges, setting your squad’s product strategy and discovering our next big opportunities. The ideal candidate for this role has strong communication and stakeholder-management skills as well as experience building customer-facing web and mobile apps. You will contribute to a world-class product and collaborate daily with a cross-functional team to enhance our merchant experience.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Discover and define: Work collaboratively to identify and solve complex problems retail merchants are facing.
  • Communicate and Deliver: Share your understanding of business constraints and customer needs with your product team, ensuring everyone fully understands the problem and has the context needed to deliver effective solutions.
  • Own and influence: Leverage data and qualitative insights to craft and prioritize the product roadmap and gain support from teammates, colleagues, stakeholders, and key executives to deliver on it.
  • Iterate and Learn: Regularly gather customer feedback and analyze product performance to continuously refine features and improve the user experience.
  • Raise the bar: You’ll work with market-leading technologies, colleagues, and partners to create innovative solutions.

What you need to bring:

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

  • Strong sense of ownership combined with exceptional organizational skills, enabling you to lead initiatives from product strategy through to delivery.
  • A track record of driving the development of highly scalable, public-facing SaaS applications, with a focus on high-usage user experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and compellingly, tailoring messages to different audiences and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within distributed cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, GTM, and customer success, to achieve product objectives.
  • Data-driven mindset, with experience leveraging analytics, customer feedback, and market trends to inform product decisions.
  • Knowledge of the retail space would be a plus.

We know that people are more than what’s on their CV. If you’re unsure that you have the right profile for the role... hit the ‘Apply’ button and give it a try!
