Must have Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing and implementing data pipelines for large-scale systems.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for clients.
• Expertise in data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Flink, or Beam.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, with hands-on experience in cloud data storage and processing tools (e.g., S3, BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with data lake architectures and technologies such as Apache Hudi, Delta Lake, or Iceberg.
• Experience in building data pipelines using ETL tools like Airflow, Luigi, or DBT.
• Knowledge of data governance, data privacy regulations, and best practices for ensuring data security.
• Familiarity with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to create and deliver technical pitches and proposals that align with client objectives and demonstrate the value of data engineering solutions

Nice to have Skills

• Experience with real-time data processing and messaging systems such as Kafka, Kinesis, or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with data orchestration and workflow management tools.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with modern data architectures, including data mesh or data fabric.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Proven track record in implementing data quality frameworks and monitoring solutions
