What do we need
As a Front End Software Engineer, you will be joining a team in the process of developing an exciting new product that will further enhance our core product suite at Virscidian. As an Engineer you will collaborate closely with cross functional teams, such as Product Management to discuss customer requirements and ensure delivery meets requests.
You will be proactive and comfortable working in an agile development environment & not afraid to ask for guidance or clarification when necessary. We are a remote team so communication is paramount for efficient delivery.


In this role you will get to

  • Work closely with the technical PM to review/discuss and implement UI Requirements.
  • Work heavily in Blazor WASM developing complex user interfaces
  • Develop UI/UX design specifically in highly technical applications
  • Collaborate with the wider team to problem-solve complex development challenges
  • Design and keep up to date technical and user documentation

 

We are looking for people who have  at least 5 years experience in front end software development, with at least 1 year of experience building enterprise-level, line-of-business applications.  You will be able to demonstrate advanced analytical skills with great attention to detail.


The key skills we are looking for

  • Advanced C#
  • Blazor WebAssembly: Working knowledge of  building enterprise-level, line-of-business applications using .Net Blazor, with a strong understanding of the Blazor lifecycle and render cycle.
  • .NET frameworks
  • NET Web API: Proficient in developing back-end services, working knowledge in building web APIs or full-stack applications with Blazor.
  • JavaScript: Familiarity with front-end scripting, especially JSInterop in Blazor.
  • Entity Framework: Solid knowledge of database interactions, ORM, and migrations.
  • Version Control: Experience with TFS/Azure DevOps is preferred.

You may also have

  • Working experience in Docker
  • Experience with Scientific Software
