Amazon is transforming how customers shop by integrating video into their buying journey. Over the past three years, we've pioneered engaging video experiences such as Amazon Live, GenAI-driven product videos, and more. Today, the majority of our customers consider video content critical to their purchase decisions.
As the Head of Video Commerce, you will take this momentum to the next level by driving video commerce as a key lever for customer engagement, business growth, and profitability. This role is inspired by successful video commerce models in Southeast Asia, where 15-25% of e-commerce is powered by livestreaming and other video-driven experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and Scale Video Commerce: Define and execute a strategy to make video commerce a major driver of engagement, topline growth, and profitability.
* Leadership and Collaboration:
-- Lead a multidisciplinary team of Product Managers, Program Managers, Business Development Managers, and Account Managers.
-- Partner with internal Category Leaders to drive adoption of video solutions.
-- Collaborate with Worldwide Teams to leverage global innovations and scale your solutions across locales.
-- Customer Experience Innovation: Design customer experiences (CX) that are used by millions, ensuring they are impactful and scalable.
-- Strategic Partnerships: Build and manage partnerships with influencers, brands, studios, and vendors to create and grow a vibrant video commerce ecosystem.
-- Executive Communication: Regularly interact with VP+ leaders to define strategic plans, review progress, and drive alignment.
Qualifications:
* Customer Experience Design: 10+ years of PM/CX experience. Built 1-2 solutions used by millions of customers.
* Business Development and Account Management: Building and managing relationships with key partners to achieve measurable results.
* Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage high-visibility programs in a fast-paced environment.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
* A data-driven and customer-obsessed mindset, with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

- Roadmap Management: Define high quality product roadmap based on business strategy and voice of customer. Manage a cross-functional process to translate the desired customer experience into a logically sequenced and optimized product roadmap. - Create buy-in for the product roadmap with internal and external stakeholders.
- Requirements Definition: Partner with UX design team to develop high quality requirements and manage the scope of each product launch to deliver key capabilities on time.
- Product Roll-out: Create and execute go-to-market plans for new products and features. Work closely with product engineering to develop product(s) and go-to-market teams (marketing) to drive adoption. * Define and monitor key performance metrics to ensure performance, and continually optimize operational efficiencies.
- Be comfortable with hands-on, day-to-day problem solving, implementing quick and effective action plans to meet short term priorities. Equally comfortable in generating a 3-year strategic vision.
- Prepare and present business reviews to senior management
