Join us! The GoFundMe team is searching for our next a Mobile QA Engineer who is passionate about ensuring the highest quality for iOS and Android native applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience in manual mobile testing, a keen eye for detail, and an ability to work effectively in an agile development environment.

You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to test new features, identify bugs, and improve the overall user experience. While the role is primarily focused on manual testing, exposure to test automation is a plus and can be a future growth opportunity

Candidates eligible for this role must reside in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The Job…

Manual Testing

  • Execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for iOS and Android apps.
  • Perform functional, regression, UI/UX, and exploratory testing to ensure app quality.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA or similar tools.
  • Ensure app stability across different devices, OS versions, and network conditions.

Release & Regression Testing

  • Conduct smoke and sanity testing for mobile builds before release.
  • Validate mobile builds in CI/CD pipelines
  • Work with developers and product managers to prioritize and validate bug fixes.

Collaboration & Agile Workflow

  • Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, bug triages, and release discussions.
  • Provide usability and UX feedback to improve the overall mobile experience.

You… 

  • 2-4 years of experience in manual testing for iOS and Android native apps.
  • Strong ability to write detailed test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
  • Hands-on experience with mobile debugging tools like Charles Proxy, Firebase Crashlytics, and Postman.
  • Familiarity with mobile development environments (Android Studio, Xcode) and app deployment processes.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams using test case management tools (e.g., TestRail).
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Preferred

  • Exposure to mobile test automation using Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.
  • Experience in API testing using Postman.
  • Knowledge of performance testing for mobile apps.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for mobile app releases.
