Finance Placement Student (12 months)

About this role
As a placement student in our Accounting and Finance team, you will play a key role in processes and deliverables. You will be fully integrated into the finance teams shared services function covering Accounts Payable. This placement will strengthen your working financial knowledge and give a unique perspective of the workings of a finance function in a fast growing multinational business.
What youβll do
- Submitting invoices and creating settlement runs for supplier payments on ERP system
- Setting up expert payments in a timely manner on bank portals
- Managing day-to-day supplier and expert queries on payments
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Collecting and processing staff expenses
- Processing and reconciling corporate credit cards
- Assisting with Bank Reconciliation reviews
- Where relevant, carrying out ad hoc projects as required
These tasks are fundamental to the smooth running of the business and you will find that such activities are conducted in many other businesses which will give you a good understanding of the basics and the platform for a strong start to your career in finance.

Requirements
- A strong interest in a future career in Finance or Accounting
- Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels in a professional and mature manner
- Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and undertake various administrative duties
- Proficiency in MS Office or Gsuite skills
Eligibility
- Must be an undergraduate student in your penultimate year
Compensation and benefits
- Β£25,000 per annum
