About the role:

Clutch is in search of a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our growing People Operations team! At Clutch, you have the opportunity to work in an environment in which People Operations has a seat at the table and the business truly values strategic human resources partnership and results. As an HRBP at our new production facility in Mississauga, you will partner with the business and other key stakeholders, ensuring all operational objectives at the production facility are met. You will help design, develop, and implement strategic and tactical solutions. 

What you’ll do:

  • This role is 100% on-site at our Etobicoke production facility as we transition to our new Mississauga facility
  • Partner with the leadership team of the production facility to help employees build workplace morale and productivity
  • Closely interact with the production facility employees to understand their employment-related challenges and offer tailored solutions to the leadership team
  • Provide day to day HR guidance to production leadership via presence on production floor 
  • Conduct effective, objective, and comprehensive investigations to aid the leadership team in expertly managing and resolving employee issues 
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the business unit’s operations and various roles and responsibilities
  • Maintain a thorough understanding and knowledge of local legal requirements to ensure regulatory compliance and reduce legal risks
  • Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning
  • Coordinate and support new employee orientation by scheduling onboarding sessions, preparing new hire equipment and resources, and presenting onboarding information 
  • Maintain accurate employee records and reports in HRIS as needed
  • In coordination with the broader People Operations team, plan, schedule, and measure org-wide programs such as performance review cycles, employee engagement surveys, and skills development, etc. 

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years experience in HR/People Operations working in a fast-paced environment, preferably at a high growth manufacturing organization 
  • Excellent stakeholder management - you are passionate about getting things done for the organization while acting as an extremely emotionally intelligent intermediary between various groups to navigate complex relationships and manage outcomes. 
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills - you can keep track of a variety of work streams and prioritize accordingly.
  • Analytical thinker, you’re able to run reports and identify patterns through data, and present this data to the Director of People Operations and Production Leadership in a way that enables decision-making.
  • Not afraid to roll up your sleeves, while keeping an eye out for opportunities to make an existing process more efficient or level up the way we do things to a higher standard.
  • Ability to participate in confidential matters appropriately.  
  • An eye for detail and a knack for fast but precise work.
  • You are a positive, process oriented, relationship developing machine. You love to advocate for our employees and leadership teams!
