The DCIS Strategy & Data team is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to provide deep, data-driven insights into datacenter operations processes and systems that will inform strategy in key areas. Ideal candidates will have technical skill, business domain knowledge, and the ability to explain findings and concepts in plain language to a variety of business stakeholders at multiple organizational levels. Exceptional candidates will be able to work in an applied manner from concept through execution and will be able to drive and affect impact with their work.  Your work will shape and impact outcomes in a variety of domains within datacenter process, operations, systems, and strategy. In our evolving cloud business, constant growth in both scale and complexity makes this an exciting opportunity to transform how we grow Microsoft's cloud infrastructure.

• This role is located either in one or all hub locations - Atlanta, GA, Washington, D.C., Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX or Phoenix, AZ.
• Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates must relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location.
• This role is eligible for hybrid or remote work, up to 100%.
