Prime Video is reimagining the Entertainment Hub allowing customers to gain access to the content they love be it through a subscription like Prime or a Channel (like Paramount+ or HBO for example) or be it through a purchase or rental. Bringing this all together in a seamless way for customers, enabling them to discover and choose the offer that's best for them and complete the checkout experience to quickly get them into playback is our teams mission. The PV Entitlement Experience team is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead transformational initiatives which enable PV to further grow the offer selection for customers internationally, as well as innovate in both the customer sign-up and retention journeys.



Key job responsibilities
- Defining and leading program management mechanisms for key engineering initiatives, which typically involve multiple stakeholders across engineering, product and UX.

- Owning tech initiatives which are ambiguous and bringing clarity to systems improvements as well as driving alignment across engineering and product for delivery.

- Owning key engineering goals for PV entitlement experience and the wider Subscriptions Tech organisation - be they improving the user experience, enabling PV to go faster in launching new capabilities, or driving improvements to availability and resiliency for PVs Entitlement Experience services.

- Partnering with multiple cross functional organisations within Prime Video, from Prime, Channels, Transactional VOD, Advertising, Live Sports and PV International.

A day in the life
- Leading Critical Project Reviews (CPRs) for PV entitlement experience and Commerce Tech goals, together with engineering, product, UX and business stakeholders.

- Periodically leading and driving roadmap reviews with engineering and product peers.

- Authoring 2 or 6 pagers to drive engineering transformation across PV Entitlement Experience.

- Updating, reviewing and auditing goals that you own as well as those of your peers.

- Driving availability and infrastructure campaigns for PV Entitlement Experience.

- Participating in roadmap planning (12 months and 3YP).

About the team
The PV Entitlement Experience organisation owns the customer journey and web services from the point of purchase in Prime Video, through to sign-up, checkout and completion.

The team is structured into 3 programs, Entitlements, Offers (ensuring we present the best offer for a customer), and Checkout (allowing customers to sign-up and transact). All 3 engineering teams are located in London, but we have partner teams in Bangalore and Seattle. The Senior TPM will work across multiple initiatives in this domain.

We are evolving both the capabilities that allow's Prime Video to support multiple offer types and bundles, investing in machine learning to help identify the best offer, as well as improving the customer journey to allow customers quickly access their content.

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience in technical program management working directly with software engineering teams
- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience in system design- Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
