We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Vice President of Sales for the European (EMEA) region. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy across the EMEA markets, driving revenue growth, and managing a high-performing sales team. This role requires a strategic thinker, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving ambitious sales targets.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the overall sales strategy for the EMEA region in alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
  • Set ambitious revenue targets and establish sales quotas, ensuring consistent and sustainable growth.

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team across multiple markets within the EMEA region.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture, providing clear direction and support to team members.
  • Monitor and evaluate individual and team performance, providing coaching and feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Market Expansion and Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances to expand market presence.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry influencers.
  • Leverage market insights to refine product offerings and contribute to the development of new products/services.

Sales Operations and Execution:

  • Oversee the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and finance, to drive seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize sales processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting:
  • Track and analyze sales metrics, pipeline, and revenue results, providing regular reports to executive leadership.
  • Identify trends, challenges, and opportunities, and develop action plans to address them.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations to communicate sales performance and strategies to internal and external stakeholders.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the sales budget for the EMEA region, ensuring resource allocation aligns with strategic priorities.
  • Monitor and control expenses to achieve financial targets while maximizing ROI.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of [10+] years of progressive sales leadership experience in a B2B environment, with a strong focus on the EMEA region.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities.
  • Experience in managing and motivating geographically dispersed sales teams.
  • In-depth understanding of the EMEA market, cultures, and business practices.
  • Ability to travel as needed within the region and internationally.
