As a Quality Automation Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and quality of this groundbreaking platform. By driving automated testing, performance optimization, and API validation, you'll directly contribute to the fusion of our chatbot platform with Vonage Contact Center (VCC), paving the way for smarter, more dynamic customer communication tools.

What you'll do

• Ensure and keep our product quality standard throughout all product streams
• Create/maintain/update automated tests in Cypress / Pytest / selenium.
• Effectively documents test coverage, identifying and recording defects, bugs, errors, and other associated issues
• Perform automated regression
• Perform load testing/ database and data testing
• Uses Postman/automation framework for API testing or any other tool.
• Performs testing activities based on the agreed testing process
• Provides training to the rest of the team if needed

What you'll bring

• Minimum 4 years experience in automation
• Experience using Postman framework
• Knowledge in Python is a must
• Knowledge of CSS, HTML, and JavaScript would be an advantage
• Ability to write comprehensive automation tests and test suites, locating and solving code-related errors
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman etc) and MongoDB
• Advanced knowledge of SDLC
• Self-management and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
• Nice to haves: Cypress and K6
