Senior Software Engineering Manager, Cloud Support Platform

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in designing and developing distributed systems, and 5 years of experience managing teams.
• Experience in full-stack development, enterprise architecture and people management.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in Generative AI.
• Experience developing full-stack (front-end and back-end) software engineering teams, Product Managers and Program Managers.
• Experience in technical leadership, leading project teams, and setting technical direction.
• Experience in product leadership, engineering mastery and ability to learn the business domain.

With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.

In this role, you will help customers to be successful in their Cloud journey and accelerate Cloud's growth. You will lead Cloud service provider India-based teams and manage engineers, product managers, and program managers (doing production support). You will also be required to manage managers over time.

• Manage and grow Cloud service provider Bangalore-based Software Engineers, Application Engineers, PMs, and production support specialists.
• Build systems for cloud service providers (notification/automation platform) and build out Google-owned systems to eliminate dependency on third-party Salesforce systems.
• Provide product guidance to Product Managers on the team in alignment with broader cloud service providers objectives and goals.
• Lead scalable software development efforts by driving architecture selection, software design, execution, and operations.
